Timelines vary by project type and by how quickly you approve designs and submit payment. Here's what to expect after approvals and payment:
Kits: 1–3 weeks
Packages: 4–8 weeks
Monuments: Permit timelines vary, but fabrication typically takes 6–12 weeks once approved
⚠️ These are estimates, not guarantees. Permits, material delays, and weather can affect delivery. We’ll keep you updated at every step.

How much does signage cost?
Sign pricing depends on materials, size, installation requirements, and municipal regulations.
Here are some ballpark ranges:Monuments: $10K–$25K+
Post and Panel Signs: $1.5K–$8K
Full Sign Packages: $4K–$6K per 100 units (includes amenities, directionals, and required signage)
⚠️ These numbers are rough estimates. We’ll always scope your property and provide transparent pricing before you commit.
-
Probably. Most exterior signage including banners, flags, and entry signs - requires a permit.
Each municipality is different, so we always do a code check. If a sign type should be permitted, we’ll recommend it. If you're on a tight deadline and want to move forward without a permit, you can do so by signing a waiver. We'll always guide you on the risks.

Yes, with transparency.
If you plan to bid out the project, we simply ask to be informed upfront. In these cases, we charge for the initial scoping, design, or code research work. Once that’s complete, you’re free to take the deliverables to any vendor you choose.
That said, if you end up awarding the project to Resident, we’ll waive or credit part (or all) of the initial fee depending on the scope and size of the final contract.
We always appreciate the opportunity for a “last look” and will do everything we can to match or beat competitive bids. More than anything, we want to be a partner that respects your process while delivering serious value.
-
Yes. We coordinate full-service installs nationwide through our vetted installer network. All vendors we work with are properly insured and carry workmanship warranties. We also ensure the install matches approved designs and code requirements.
-
Absolutely but we need the right files. For accurate color matching and logo reproduction, we recommend providing vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) and brand guidelines. We’ll work with you to align with both print and paint specs, including PMS, CMYK, or custom paint codes.
-
You can pay directly by credit card or ACH. We’re also set up on systems like NetVendor and RealPage so you can upload invoices through your property ops platform. For larger projects, we can offer phased payments or flexible terms.
-
Yes. That’s our specialty. Whether you need a one-time lease-up kit or full signage for a new development, we’ll guide you from code checks and surveys to install. For multi-property portfolios, we also offer standardized solutions and custom packages.

Yes — signage is a process. Here's what helps:
Timelines are estimates. Nothing is final until payment and approval are in.
Branding files: We need vector files (not just PNGs or screenshots) to ensure quality.
Color Matching: Marketing, paint, and print use different systems. We'll guide you on what’s possible and always get as close as possible.
Payment Options: Credit card, check, or ops system upload. We’re approved on NetVendor, RealPage, and more.
